We are a church that has committed to stand on God's Word to reach our community, town, and country for Jesus Christ. We have adapted the theme of "Helping People Climb Life's Mountain". Statement of Beliefs

1. Evangelize the Sinners: We exist as a Fellowship(church) to share our faith- what God has done in our lives, and the salvation He provides through His Son Jesus Christ.  Matthew 28:19- "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations,baptizing them in the name   of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit..."   2. Equip the Saints: We exist as a Fellowship to teach others how to grow in this faith we share, to help them to become "Adequate, equipped for every good work" 2 Timothy 3:17 ", Matthew 28:20 "Teaching them to observe all that I commanded you..." 3. Expand the Kingdom of God: We exist as a Fellowship to work with other believers in the United States and around the world to see the Lord. Acts 2:47 "Adding to their number day by day those who were being saved."  Acts 1:8 " You shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth."

Church History

Mt. View Baptist Fellowship is a church plant that was started on Father's Day of 2001. It was started with the pastor, Jimmy Meadows, his wife Debby, daughter Amy and son Joshua. The first year we met in our house and garage. Then in 2002 we moved into the building on 460 . God is doing a great work here in Bluefield and we are so blessed to be apart of it.  We are now in a new church home, in West Graham, since  August the 5th , 2007.
